Welcome to Divonic

Hi there, my name is Freddy Rangel. With over a decade of experience as a professional software engineer, I've tackled projects in everything from fledgling startups to giant enterprises. I’ve authored books and spoken at dozens of conferences. Despite this, I have a notable weakness — I struggle with technical interviews. My learning has always been asynchronous, focused on immediate needs rather than prolonged theoretical studies. This often means that formal technical interviews, which I've faced, were largely just formalities, with job offers usually coming from former colleagues.

I recognize the value of coding challenges, akin to how some believe classical music benefits babies. It's not that the challenges directly enhance skills, but rather, they demonstrate a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.

In my career, I reached a point where I decided to address this gap. I found existing prep tools disjointed, with varying focuses that didn’t align with my needs. Many platforms, though comprehensive, often progress too quickly. I believe in a gradual "Crawl, Walk, Run" learning methodology, ensuring a solid foundation before moving on to more complex problems.

The advent of generative AI has unlocked potential for a more integrated learning experience. I was tired of the repetitive task of copying and pasting code for feedback. I envisioned a system that not only facilitated learning but also monitored progress and offered continuous guidance.

That's why I created Divonic. It’s designed to be intuitive, thorough, and integrated with cutting-edge AI for real-time feedback and guidance. Whether you're refreshing basics or tackling complex algorithmic challenges, Divonic aims to make your preparation as efficient and effective as possible.

I built Divonic for learners like me, and I’m thrilled to share it with you. Good luck with your interviews—you've got this!
